Between Two Worlds

Those of us who don't live in the South or in the SBC world are often unaware of how Calvinism is demonized and the polarity it has created in recent years.

For example, the president of Liberty Theological Seminary has written that “Calvinists are worse than Muslims” and labeled SBC Calvinists as “Calvinist Jihadists”!

So it's nice to see stuff like this:

Calvinism, a frequent topic within the Southern Baptist Convention and beyond, will be the theme of a Nov. 26-28 conference sponsored by Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary and Founders Ministries.

The conference, titled: “Building Bridges: Southern Baptists and Calvinism,” will be held at Ridgecrest Conference Center in North Carolina.
